a little boy with a long way to grow

Here's Jack asleep - he has plenty of room to grow into his cot.

Home Safe

We're all now home and safe.

It took us a while to get out of the hospital and into the car but we made it. After a few minutes playing around with the car seat we managed to get him in and drive slowly home.

We only got one photo of him in his coming home outfit as he'd had a little accident on the way home.

Jack is sleeping and feeding well. He's becoming more alert and likes to have a look around the house.

Birthday

Today is Jack's birthday. He arrived at 5am after a long night of contractions, pushing and tears. It wasn't easy for any of us. But we're glad he's here safe and sound.

Unsurprisingly he is a georgeous little boy.

Baby Shower

Vanessa's friends and workmates held a baby shower in her honour. One of the presents was this swing (another was chocolate for me to eat while I put it together).
Vanessa decided to test the swing using one of her dolls.
